Drivers are preparing for sections of a major Missouri highway to temporarily close, and it might be for the better after what a new study has to say about its safety.
A new study by sports booking website Hard Rock Bet named Interstate 70, which stretches east-west across the state from Kansas City to St. Louis, as the most dangerous Missouri road. The data came from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administrations, a sector of the U.S. Department of Transportation. The crash data included in the study ran from 2020 through 2024.
