KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man in Kansas City is celebrating America’s 250th anniversary in a big way.
The Missouri Lottery says a lottery player in Jackson County recently won the $250,000 top prize on a $10 “America 250” scratchers ticket.
“I was a little shaky after scratching all that off and couldn’t go to sleep that night,” the winner told the Missouri Lottery, after claiming his prize at the lottery’s regional office in Independence. “To be 100% honest, I still don’t think it’s completely sunk in.”…
