One adult, two teens injured in shooting on Linwood Boulevard near Central High School

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City, Missouri Police Department is investigating a shooting Thursday night that has left three people injured, including two teenagers.

The incident was reported around 4 p.m. near Linwood Boulevard and Benton Boulevard, just west of Central High School.

KCPD dispatch tells FOX4 two people were found shot in the area. One victim, a teen, is reported to have life threatening injuries and the other victim is reported to have non-life threatening injuries and is in stable condition at a local hospital.

A third victim arrived at Research Medical with non-life threatening injuries.

No suspects are in custody at this time.

Detectives are working the scene looking for evidence and witnesses to determine what may have led to the shooting.
