KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A life-threatening crash near Raytown Road injured 11, including four toddlers on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 1:30 p.m. at East 87th Street and Raytown Road.
A white GMC Acadia and a blue Chevy Malibu were traveling south on Raytown Road at a high rate of speed.

Both vehicles left the roadway to the right. The Chevy hit a tree and the GMC rolled over. The Chevy had seven occupants and the GMC had four occupants.
Two toddlers were ejected out of the Chevy. Two additional toddlers were in the Chevy without without proper child safety seats.
One of the toddlers received life-threatening injuries, one received critical injuries and two were seriously injured.
The driver of the Chevy received critical injuries and impairment is under investigation. The front passenger adult also had serious injuries.
One teen in the backseat received non life-threatening injuries.
