Independence police to begin ‘zero tolerance enforcement’ for expired temporary tags, plates

INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (KCTV) – Another city in the KC metro has joined the push to crack down on expired temporary tags and license plates. In January, Gladstone police announced their zero-tolerance policy, saying they would get frequent calls from drivers specifically complaining about the large number of expired tags they saw on the roads.
