LAWRENCE, Kan. (KCTV) – A missing Lawrence woman was found deceased near Kansas City after she was not found in Leavenworth Co. near where her phone last pinged. The Lawrence Police Department announced on Friday, Feb. 16, that it needed the community’s help to find Viki Peterson, 71, who needed assistance. Her family last heard from her on Thursday afternoon.
