KCPD say missing 36-year-old woman located safe

Update: Hannah Shelton has been located safely.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City, Missouri Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a missing 36-year-old woman.

Hannah Shelton was last seen in the 7100 block of Jefferson Street in Kansas City Monday while out for a walk around 2:45 p.m.

Family stated that she is developmentally disabled and functions at the level of a 12-year-old child. She is also reported to be on the spectrum for autism.

She’s described as standing 5’1″ and weighs 165 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white sweatshirt with red “Kansas City” lettering and green sweatpants.

Anyone with information is asked to call the KCPD Missing Persons Unit at (816) 234-5043 or call 911.
