Kansas City leaders speak out after Mayor Q’s call for ‘lawfully present’ migrants

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – More officials have spoken out since Mayor Quinton Lucas called on immigrants to head toward Kansas City to help with an ongoing labor shortage. Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey posted a statement to X on Sunday, April 21, to state he would take legal action if anyone is found trafficking “illegal aliens” to the Show-Me State.
