INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (KCTV) – Fire officials announced Friday morning that a man was taken into custody in connection with an arson investigation. The Independence Fire Department stated that firefighters had responded to a duplex fire in the 2400 block of Harvard Avenue and determined it to be intentionally set on the Fourth of July.
