Chiefs Star Chris Jones Gives 7-Word Reaction to Tyreek Hill’s Police Incident

Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill was detained by police due to a minor traffic violation ahead of their season-opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sept. 8.

According to NFL.com , the news was confirmed by Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, to NFL insider Ian Rapoport. Rosenhaus added that Hill was released by police and will suit up against the Jaguars.

The Dolphins also issued a statement following the development.

“Several teammates saw the incident and stopped to offer support,” the team said, as quoted by NFL.com. “Tyreek and all other players involved have safely arrived at the stadium and will be available for today’s game.”

Kansas City Chiefs star defensive tackle Chris Jones, meanwhile, took to X to express his opinion on the incident.

“Arresting the Cheetah is crazy,” Jones tweeted, referring to Hill’s nickname. “Free Reek.”

The 30-year-old Hill, however, was not arrested but detained. Plus, as Rosenhaus said, the Dolphins wide receiver was already freed.

To recall, Jones and Hill had a word war when the Dolphins and the Chiefs faced off last season.
