LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. – Jennifer Jones, a teacher at Lee’s Summit West High School, has been named Missouri Teacher of the Year for 2025. She has been teaching for 23 years, 19 of those at Lee’s Summit West. In fact, she has been at the school every year since it opened, except for the very first year.
