It seems Taylor Swift is always on Travis Kelce’s mind, even while on the set of Ryan Murphy’s latest show Grotesquerie .
During a scene in his series debut, which came during the third episode on Wednesday, Oct. 2, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end gave a not-so-subtle (at least to fans) nod to his superstar girlfriend—who also happens to be known as a pretty good baker.

Kelce took on the role of a flirtatious hospital orderly named Ed Laclan in the FX series. After helping Niecy Nash-Betts’ character, Detective Lois Tryon, out of a tight spot, the woman offered to bake Ed a cake to repay his kindness. But he proposed a different kind of confection instead.
“You know what I like?” he asked. “Pop-Tarts without the frosting.”
It’s unclear, of course, if Kelce improvised the line himself or if it was written for him. But having recently revealed that he thinks Swift “makes a great pop-tart” —as does Andy Reid and the rest of the team—it seems to be a shoutout to his lover —one that left Swifties spiraling.
