Apparently Patrick Mahomes sometimes feels like he’s still in dad mode when it comes to working with teammate Travis Kelce .
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback recently made a bold declaration about playing on the field with Kelce, 35, whom he compared to his and wife Brittany Mahomes ‘ 3-year-old daughter, Sterling Skye .

While debriefing after the Chiefs’ victory over the New Orleans Saints on Monday, Oct. 7, Mahomes, 29, joked about one moment in the game, when Kelce decided to take a play into his own hands.
“I told [Kelce] before the play, ‘I’m gonna throw it to you,’ so we could get into field goal range, and he underhand shoveled it across the entire field,” Mahomes said in a post-game press conference , before quipping, “It’s like I’m talking to Sterling.”
Sterling is Mahomes’ firstborn child, followed by his second, son Patrick “Bronze’ Lavon Mahomes III . He and his wife are currently expecting their third child together, a baby girl who will officially make them a family of five.
