HUTCHINSON, Kan. (KCTV) – An inmate found guilty of a Kansas City homicide has been found deceased in his cell at a Hutchinson prison. The Kansas Department of Corrections announced on Monday, Oct. 21, that Kevyn Lopez, 26, an inmate at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility, has died. He was found unresponsive in his cell that morning. Life-saving measures were attempted but ultimately proved unsuccessful.
