OLATHE, Kan. (KCTV) – Nearly $98 million has been awarded to an Olathe construction project that is expected to cost nearly $278 million when all is said and done. Kansas Governor Laura Kelly announced on Tuesday, Oct. 22, that the U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded the Kansas Department of Transportation a $98 million Infrastructure for Rebuilding America grant. The funds are set to improve the I-35 and Santa Fe Street corridor in Olathe.
