Missouri Governor Mike Parson commutes the sentence of a white former Kansas City Police officer who was convicted of fatally shooting a Black man. Eric DeValkenaere was serving a six-year sentence on a charge of involuntary manslaughter. He was convicted in 2021 of killing Cameron Lamb, 26, as he backed into his garage in Kansas City.
