TOPEKA, Kan. (KCTV) – Former Overland Park, Kansas, Police Department officers who resigned at the center of an investigation into misused charity funds have been ordered to repay more than $27,500.
Johnson County, Kansas, District Court records have revealed that the four former officers have been ordered to repay the money that a 2021 audit found they mishandled for the Overland Park Police Officers Foundation. While they were never criminally charged, civil litigation lasted years.
