KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A 25-year-old man remained in custody Tuesday morning, charged in connection with the shooting death of a man a week ago.
Jackson County prosecutor Melesa Johnson announced that she had charged Jadon Stumph of Kansas City, Missouri, with second-degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm.
The prosecutor’s office stated that Independence police officers were called to the area of High Street and Cherry Street just before midnight on May 13 on a reported shooting.
