Drying out this afternoon with cool and breezy conditions

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Isolated rain chances linger in our eastern areas until noon. Otherwise, expect a cool, breezy and dry by the afternoon. You’ll need to keep a jacket or sweatshirt handy all day, as it’ll be significantly cooler this afternoon.

Once we dry out by the afternoon, we should see decreasing cloud cover and breezy conditions. Winds between 15 – 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph. High temperatures will be COOL. Highs only reach the mid-60s. While we should remain dry the rest of the day, an isolated light rain shower can’t be ruled out along and north of I-70 between 5-8 p.m.

The cool air isn’t going anywhere this week…
