KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – An Independence man has been charged with federal crimes for possessing more than two kilograms of cocaine and illegally possessing several guns.
The U.S. Department of Justice said 26-year-old Jacob N. Dodge was charged with participating in a conspiracy to distribute cocaine, possessing cocaine with the intent to distribute and possessing firearms in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime.
Authorities attempted to arrest Dodge on May 23, 2025, after a controlled drug evidence purchase. When officers with the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department tried to initiate a high-risk stop, Dodge “purposely struck the occupied vehicles with his vehicle,” court documents said…
