Mayor Quinton Lucas announces Kansas City’s 13th Sister City in France

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Mayor Quinton Lucas and Mayor François Grosdidier from Metz, France, signed a Sister Cities agreement.

This established Kansas City’s 13th overseas partnership and strengthens ties between Kansas City, the United States and France.

The ceremony was in Metz’s 254-year-old Hôtel de Ville (City Hall). It was just one part of many weekend events that featured French and American officials, business leaders, students from UMKC Conservatory of Music, an educator at Kansas City’s Academie Lafayette and a 12-member delegation from Kansas City on a Western European business recruitment mission…
