KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Progress is being made to make Kansas City a safer place, according to city leaders, even though it may not always seem that way.
Jackson County Prosecutor Melesa Johnson said that while the past two weeks have been particularly violent in Kansas City, the number of shootings south of the river have actually declined recently.
