Avoid the Area: Man pronounced dead after Olathe train collision

OLATHE, Kan. (KCTV) – One man has been pronounced dead after a train collision in Olathe brought traffic to a halt.

The Olathe, Kansas, Police Department says that just after 3:05 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, emergency crews were called to the area of W. Elm and S. Kansas Ave. with reports that a train hit a pedestrian.

When first responders arrived, they said they found an adult male who was pronounced deceased at the scene…
