KCKPD to take over downtown security operations in ‘revitalization’ of area

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) – A major transition is coming to downtown Kansas City, Kansas.

In an announcement shared Thursday, the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Downtown Shareholders of Kansas City Kansas (DTSKCK) announced that security operations will transition at the start of July.
