Kansas City area IHOP employees file complaints after more than month without pay

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Northland Kansas City IHOP employees told KCTV5 they’re struggling to make ends meet and are at risk of losing their homes, after not receiving their paychecks in more than a month.

Shawn Fitch has worked at the Chouteau location since January as an assistant manager and claims his paychecks have never been consistent. He said he hasn’t been paid in 44 days.

“Between numerous employees wanting to just upright quit, I’ve had people, I’ve had employees that just didn’t show up for their shift because they weren’t getting paid,” he said…
