A federal grand jury in Kansas City, Missouri, has indicted a Kansas City man and woman accused of distributing illegal drugs, including fentanyl and its analogues, to an undercover agent. One of the defendants also faces multiple firearm-related charges.
The 14-count indictment, returned June 30, 2025, charges 31-year-old Marcellus W. Anderson and 37-year-old Tyra K. M. McGee with conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and a fentanyl analogue. The alleged conspiracy spanned from December 1, 2023, through June 11, 2025. This indictment supersedes a federal criminal complaint originally filed against both defendants on June 12, 2025.
