Kansas City Man Indicted on Drug Trafficking and Firearms Charges

KANSAS CITY, Kan. — A federal grand jury has indicted a Kansas City man on multiple drug trafficking and firearms charges.

According to court documents, 26-year-old Marquis V. Bridgeman of Kansas City, Kansas, faces six counts: two for being a felon in possession of a firearm, one for possession of a machine gun, one for possession with intent to distribute 40 grams or more of fentanyl, one for possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and one for possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) and the Kansas Highway Patrol are leading the investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney David Zabel is prosecuting the case…
