KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Police had a busy Fourth of July weekend as officers worked to keep the metro safe.
Kansas City police said its officers responded to dozens of instances of celebratory gunfire and said people shot hundreds of bullets into the air during a 24-hour period.
In Kansas City alone, there were 31 reports of people firing shots into the air. The reports were from 6 a.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday. In all, 200 bullets were fired according to Kansas City police…
