What started as a routine stop at a gas station turned into a nightmare for Alex Bell when someone jumped into his car and drove off — with his dog Bear still inside.“I would take this five times over just to make sure he was safe,” said Bell, who was left battered and bruised after trying to hold onto the car’s door handle and being dragged across the parking lot.Bell had left his car running with the air conditioning on while filling the tires.
