Crossroads Food Stop, a Kansas City virtual food hall and ghost kitchen hub that once hosted over a dozen restaurant concepts under one roof, has quietly shuttered after less than two years in operation.
City records filed this month show that its vendors’ licenses have been suspended due to inactivity. The windows of the building at 1600 Campbell St. are blacked out, and its website lists no longer lists any restaurants.
Opened in October 2022, the facility was part of a national network of ghost kitchens operated by CloudKitchens, a company known for providing takeout- and delivery-only kitchen spaces for restaurateurs looking to expand without traditional storefronts…
