Families line up to prepare students for first day with Kansas City Public Schools

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – On Saturday, dozens of parents and kids made their way to Central High School for the Kansas City Public Schools Enrollment Fair.

Saturday was the last day for parents to enroll their students in transportation for the first day of school.

There was a long line of families waiting outside, ready to get in. At the fair, families could also get their students’ vaccines, supplies, lunch, and have any questions answered.

This new school year is also when many ongoing projects are starting for the district after passing a $474 million bond in April…
