Public Works’ Solid Waste Management Division is launching a new test program designed to improve trash and recycling collection in Kansas City, Kansas. Beginning Friday, August 1, participating households will transition to a modernized system using 96-gallon trash and recycling carts picked up by truck-mounted arms operated by a single driver.
