High-speed pursuit ends in Clinton County with felony charges for two

Two individuals arrested by the Missouri State Highway Patrol on the night of Thursday, July 31, in Clinton County are now facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges in connection with an alleged high-speed vehicle pursuit.

Mason Alexander Luke, 19, of Blue Springs, has been charged with two felony counts: aggravated fleeing from a stop or detention and possession of a controlled substance. He also faces three misdemeanor charges: unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a vehicle on a highway without a valid license, and operating a motor vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility.

Lexus Jomarie Perkins, 21, of Smithville, has been charged with two felonies: possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence in a felony prosecution.
