KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A New Mexico woman accused of a 2023 murder in Albuquerque was found and arrested at the Kansas City International Airport after years on the run.
Platte County, Missouri, Circuit Court records filed on Sunday, Aug. 3, indicate that Marisa Chavez, 35, of Albuquerque, was found and arrested in the Kansas City metro.
A probable cause statement filed by the Albuquerque Police Department revealed that in May 2023, law enforcement officials were called to the 2400 block of Mountain Rd., near the University of New Mexico campus, with reports of a shooting.
