KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Many parents will be sending their kids back to school in the next two weeks. That can get expensive. Kansas City’s Police Athletic League (PAL) saw an enormous turnout for an event Monday night, aiming to address that.
Hundreds of kids and parents filled the parking lot of the giant gym in Kansas City’s Northeast. A line snaked down the stairs and past the parking lot entrance well before the doors opened at 5 p.m. for what was more than the usual school supply giveaway.
