A downtown Kansas City building that partially collapsed earlier this summer is expected to be fully demolished.
An old parking garage at 1219 Wyandotte St., across the street from Barney Allis Plaza, partially collapsed the evening of July 8. The fire department reported that parts of the facade and some of the parapet separated from the garage, sending bricks crashing to the sidewalk and street below.
Further inspection showed that more concrete had fallen from the front of the building. No injuries were reported…
