Kansas City fire fighters responded to a reported house fire in the 1100 block of West 76th Street at 7:11 p.m. The first company on scene reported heavy fire from a 2-story home and initiated an offensive fire attack. Crews advanced 2 hose lines to extinguish the flames, and searches throughout the structure came back “all clear”. The fire was reported under control at 7:28 p.m. Companies continued with overhaul operations to expose and extinguish hot spots prior to returning to service.
