‘Problem solved’: Rockhurst HS boys clean up hundreds of illegally dumped tires

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Rockhurst High School aims to develop “men for others.” On Tuesday morning, dozens of new students helped tidy up part of Kansas City’s Blue River Trail that had turned into a dumping ground.

Not two weeks ago, KCTV5 reported on close to 500 tires that had been tossed down a hillside next to the trail and accumulated into a giant eyesore.

The high school shared photos on social media that several of its freshmen, through the Ignatian Service arm of the institution, helped improve their community with some volunteer efforts…
