KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Thursday, August 28, 2025 – WDAF-TV FOX4 Kansas City is excited to announce that Scott Kilbury will join the station as its newest evening anchor, beginning the last week of August. Scott will report for FOX4 News at 9 PM and co-anchor FOX4 News at 10 PM alongside Loren Halifax.
Scott brings over two decades of experience in television news, with a career that spans morning, evening, and sports broadcasting. For the past eight years, he has been a trusted anchor at Nexstar’s station in Colorado Springs. His dedication to storytelling and journalism has earned him five regional Emmy Awards and more than a dozen Associated Press awards, recognizing his reporting across Nebraska, Arizona, New York, and Colorado.
A native of Western Pennsylvania who considers Tucson, Arizona, his home, Scott’s career path began in a unique way. Before becoming a broadcaster, he worked with hearing-impaired children at the Arizona State School for the Deaf and Blind, where he became fluent in American Sign Language and met his wife, Teresa.
