KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) – Etched into stone are the names of the men who gave their lives to protect others.
On Friday, Ofc. Hunter Simoncic and Deputy Elijah Ming’s names were put on their respective memorials for fallen officers and deputies.
They were killed in the line of duty within 30 days of each other. The community has since not let up on showing their support, both in big and small ways.
Blue ribbons line 5th Street, wrapped around every pole, tree, and even doorknob…
