Law enforcement reiterates dangers of pointing lasers at aircraft

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WIBW) – The Federal Bureau of Investigation Kansas City Division released a statement Tuesday urging the public not to point lasers into the air.

According to the release, pointing a laser at an aircraft is a federal felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison and/or a $250,000 fine.
