As film crews keep rolling in, Kansas City lands another Hallmark movie

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – It’s no longer just the Chiefs and BBQ that’s putting Kansas City on the map. More film crews are rolling into town, turning local spots into movie sets.

It’s all thanks to the Show Mo Act, a tax credit program for film producers, passed two years ago.

Kansas City has its own 10 percent tax credit that can be stacked with Missouri’s, offering up to a total of 52 percent in incentives…
