Pagan’s Motorcycle Club member admits guilt in Kansas City assault

A member of the Pagans Motorcycle Club admitted guilt Tuesday in federal court for his role in a violent attack on a rival club member in North Kansas City.

Mark A. Crump, also known as “Navajo,” 55, of Lee’s Summit, entered a guilty plea before U.S. District Judge Greg Kays to one count of assault resulting in serious bodily injury in aid of racketeering.

Prosecutors said the assault occurred on July 20, 2023, when Crump, along with Jarrid A. Hammer and another Pagan’s member, confronted a rival motorcyclist inside a bar and grill. According to court records, Hammer announced their intent to shut down the victim’s club before flipping a table and knocking him to the floor. Once the victim was down, the three men began stomping, kicking, and punching him. The victim later told investigators his attackers were wearing steel-toed boots…
