Hundreds of Kansas Citians braved the heat to honor victims of 9/11 attacks

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Many braved the weekend heat for the 23rd Patriots Run commemorating those who lost their lives on September 11th.

Over 750 runners hit the payment to help recognize the sacrifices made by first responders.

The event also benefitted Folds of Honor, a non-profit that provides scholarships to families of wounded or fallen veterans and first responders…
