Dozens arrested, cited in Kansas City as part of new highway patrol enforcement

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – Troopers made a dozen arrests and wrote dozens of tickets during a new effort to make Kansas City highways safer for everyone.

The patrol announced a new team called the Strategic Traffic Operations and Rapid Mobilization Team. Its 23 patrol members have been in place since September 1.

The team’s first operation took place Sept. 16 in Jackson County…
