KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A theme park in Kansas City has updated its chaperone policy after what was believed to be a shooting was found to be fireworks.
Worlds of Fun revealed on Thursday, Sept. 18, that it has updated its chaperone policy. Now, all guests 17 or younger are required to be accompanied by an adult who is 21 or older.
Previously, the chaperone policy only applied to guests who were 15 or under. The move follows what was assumed to be gunshots that rang out in the park on Sept. 13, but were found to be only fireworks…
