KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Worlds of Fun announced on Thursday it is implementing a new chaperone policy starting on Friday.
Under the new policy, all guests 17 or younger must have an adult with them who is at least 21 years old. The previous policy was 15 or younger.
Previously, there was no limit on the number of children and teenagers one adult could chaperone. The new policy for the fall season states, one chaperone may accompany no more than five guests ages 17 or younger per day. In addition, the chaperone must accompany their party during entry, remain inside the park during their visit and be available by phone throughout their stay…
