One person is dead after a shooting early Friday in Kansas City, Kansas, a police spokeswoman said.
Officers responded to the shooting about 1:40 a.m. in the 1500 block of Greeley Avenue, where they found the victim lying in the street, said Nancy Chartrand, a spokeswoman for the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department. Emergency medical workers pronounced him dead at the scene. His age and identity have not been released.
