Automaker taps Travis Kelce’s star power to increase EV interest, charity donations

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A company hopes Travis Kelce’s popularity will help convince people to test drive an electric vehicle.

Lucid Motors brought its Lucid Gravity electric SUV and Lucid Air sedan to Kansas City. The company is involved with Kelce’s Car Jam at Knuckleheads Friday night.

As part of the partnership, Lucid is offering test drives across the metro. The company said it will donate $87 dollars to Kelce’s 87 & Running Foundation for each test drive taken in one of its cars in Kansas City this weekend…
