Moonliner II Rocket gets new home in Kansas City’s TWA Museum

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A piece of Kansas City history now has a spot in the TWA Museum.

The original Moonliner II Rocket sat on the roof of the TWA Headquarters for more than a decade starting in the ’50s.

The replica rocket was taken down and eventually sold, restored and put up in the Airline History Museum. That museum has been closed for the last few years.
